  • I provide compassionate care to new and expecting parents as they navigate their emotional, physical, and mental health needs during pregnancy and postpartum. I am trained in diagnosing and treating Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs).

  • Birth traumas involving unexpected complications, NICU stays, C-sections, or difficult labor experiences can often leave a lasting impact on the birthing parent and their partner. I offer a safe space to process traumatic experiences related to birth and build tools for healing and resilience.

  • Losing a pregnancy, no matter how early, can bring about waves of grief, loss, isolation, confusion, anger, and sadness. I offer a space to honor your experience and navigate your emotions.

  • Experiencing infertility can feel all-consuming and heartbreaking. It might feel challenging to navigate your daily life as you watch people around you add to their families. I offer a compassionate space to share your honest emotions and learn coping skills to navigate each day.

  • Parenthood comes with a tremendous amount of change. As we navigate the immense changes in our relationships, our expectations, how we view ourselves, and our bodies, therapy can help parents who are struggling with the impact of those changes in daily life.

  • Maternal anger, or rage, is real! Often a symptom of postpartum anxiety and depression, maternal rage shows up when our needs are unmet, our expectations of parenthood do not match what’s happening in real life, and we experience grief regarding what life could have looked like. I offer a non-judgmental place to explore your anger and learn how to navigate anger triggers in your everyday parenthood journey.

  • Did you know that dads and male-identified partners can also experience postpartum depression and anxiety? 1 in 10 men experience Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). Therapy can be a space to process to process the many changes and expectations that come along with parenthood.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When we understand what is within our control and what is outside of our control, we can begin to develop strategies for helping us navigate our worries, stress, and anxiety.

  • Relationships are hard work. When we notice tension or difficult patterns of communication in our relationships it can feel hard to know what to do. Exploring our relationship patterns in therapy can help us understand how to set boundaries, manage expectations, express our needs, and navigate challenges.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective therapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. EMDR provides a space for individuals to focus briefly on a traumatic memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones), which helps reduce the vividness and intensity of your emotional response associated with the traumatic memory.
